SARAJEVO, Jan 2 (Hina) - The NATO-led Stabilization Force (SFOR)
said on Thursday that "festive" gunfire had been registered
across Bosnia-Herzegovina during the New Year holidays.
During regular patrols, SFOR troops removed three
checkpoints that had been put up illegally by local police forces
on roads inside the zone of separation between the Moslem-Croat
and Serb entities, SFOR spokesman Tony White said in Sarajevo.
A large amount of unregistered tank grenades were found in a
depot of the Moslem-Croat Federation army in southwestern Bosnia-
Herzegovina.
White said that the difference between the registered and
permitted amount of grenades was too high, so that SFOR troops
would confiscate 474 105-mm grenades and most probably destroy
them.
