ZAGREB, Jan 13 (Hina) - The President of the Republic of Croatia,
Franjo Tudjman, on Monday received the UN Transitional
Administrator in the Croatian Danubian Area, General Jacques
Klein, the President's office said in a statement.
General Klein voiced great satisfaction with the Croatian
Government's Letter of Intent about the finishing of the peaceful
reintegration of the Croatian Danubian area, and said that it was
now important to carry out the process completely, as it had been
agreed.
President Tudjman said there were the greatest prospects
that the UNTAES become the most successful U.N. mission.
Present at the talks were the President's chief-of-staff,
Hrvoje Sarinic, Croatian Vice Premier and representative in the
Transitional Administration, Ivica Kostovic, and President's deputy
chief-of-staff, Vesna Skare-Ozbolt.
