arrived in Zagreb on Thursday for a one-day official visit to

Upon his arrival at Zagreb airport, the Italian premier
was welcomed by the Croatian Premier Zlatko Matesa and Economy
Minister Davor Stern.
Prodi is accompanied by Italian government officials,
foreign ministry officials and some 20 businessmen.
Prodi is scheduled to hold official talks with Premier
Matesa immediately after his arrival. In the afternoon, the
two premiers are to continue talks with Italian and Croatian
businesspeople.
Premier Prodi will also meet members of the Italian
minority and visit the Archbishop of Zagreb, Cardinal Franjo
Kuharic.
The Italian premier is to be received by the Croatian
President Franjo Tudjman.
During this afternoon, Vice Premier Borislav Skegro,
Reconstruction and Development Minister Jure Radic, the
Minister of Maritime Affairs, Traffic and Communications,
Zeljko Luzavec, Privatization Minister Milan Kovac, the
President of the Croatian Chamber of Commerce, Nadan
Vidosevic, and representatives of the leading Croatian
companies will present Croatian economy to the Italian
businesspeople at the Zagreb Fair.
