MINISTER KOSTOVIC RECEIVES EMINENT PROFESSOR RAKIC

ZAGREB, Jan 28 (Hina) - Croatia's Vice Premier and Science Minister Ivica Kostovic, on Tuesday received Dr. Pasko Rakic on occasion of presenting him with the honorary doctoral degree of Zagreb University, the Croatian Science and Technology Ministry said in a statement. "D.Sc. Pasko Rakic is a professor at the faculty of medicine and the dean of the neurobiology department at Yale University in the United States. He is a member of the U.S. Academy of Arts and Sciences, and an honorary member of the Croatian Academy of Arts and Sciences," said the statement adding that he is also the president of the 'Society for Neurosciences.' The Croatian Minister thanked the renowned professor for his help in the education of Croatian young scientists. He also congratulated D.Sc.
