MOSTAR, Nov 12 (Hina) - A Bosniak returnee was injured on Wednesday night in an explosion in Borojevici, a village in the Stolac municipality, southern Bosnia-Herzegovina. Richard Ellerkmann, head of the Office of the High Representative in Mostar, said that explosions occurred in two empty houses. A shrapnel hit the Bosniak returnee in a nearby house. The victim was transported to a hospital in eastern Mostar where he was kept for further treatment. Recalling that two Bosniak returnees had already been wounded in hand grenade explosions in the Stolac area, Ellerkmann warned that the international community would not tolerate violence and do everything in its power to prevent it. The international representative said that the acting interior minister of the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton, Goran Bilic, and his deputy Sefkija Dziho had assured him that the perpetrators would be arrested. Bilic and Dziho today visited Borojevici. Canton Prefect Hamo Maslesa said that last night's explosion was the 69th incident in the Stolac area. The perpetrators of these crimes have still not been apprehended, Maslesa said adding he hoped at least some of them would be brought to justice. (hina) rml /sp
