MOSTAR, Oct 14 (Hina) - A Stabilisation Force spokesman in Mostar
(southern Bosnia-Herzegovina), on Wednesday denied that SFOR might
take part in a possible military operation in Kosovo.
Francois Grandeau, spokesman for the Division South-East, also
dismissed claims saying the anti-aircraft defence in the Bosnian
Serb entity was tied with the Yugoslav anti-aircraft defence
system.
International military forces have been supervising the radar
system of the Republika Srpska army since 1996, Grandeau said.
The SFOR will neither send its soldiers to nor assist NATO in
possible attacks in Kosovo, he added.
The international forces will carry on with its peace mission in
Bosnia-Herzegovina regardless of what happens in Kosovo, the
spokesman concluded.
