PRISTINA, Oct 10 (Hina) - Since the beginning of this year's
conflicts with Serb forces in the Yugoslav province of Kosovo,
1,690 Kosovo Albanians have been killed, executed and massacred.
Women, children and elderly people number the most of those killed,
the Kosovo Committee for the Protection of Human Rights and
Freedoms reported on Saturday.
There are still about 1,600 Albanians unaccounted for and presumed
missing, the Committee said.
It also warned about the looting, setting whole Albanian villages
on fire, bombing, as well as the large number of refugees forced to
flee from their homes before Serb attacks.
