PULA, Oct 9 (Hina) - Ambassador of Bosnia-Herzegovina Hasan
Muratovic on Friday visited Pula, where he discussed cooperation
between the Istria County and Bosnia-Herzegovina with the county
Prefect Stevo Zufic.
Speaking about the improvement of economic cooperation, Zufic said
that Istria's business people participated in five fairs in Bosnia-
Herzegovina this year. He expressed satisfaction with the
cooperation between his county and individual BH towns adding that
the purpose of today's meeting was to strengthen and promote that
cooperation.
The Istria County is the third Croatian county Ambassador Muratovic
is visiting. He has already visited Osijek-Baranja and Karlovac
counties, which both border with BH.
Muratovic said one of the reasons for his visit to the Istria County
was that a large number of people born in Bosnia lived in Istria.
Last year, the county's exports to BH amounted to US$35 million
while imports were valued at US$1.5 million.
Bosnia-Herzegovina is the county's third export partner, behind
Italy and Slovenia.
