ZAGREB, Oct 8 (Hina) - The Croatian Government on Thursday
increased customs rates on the import of cabbage and onions.
At the recommendation of the Agriculture Ministry, the Government
decided that customs for onions would now be US0.47 cents per
kilogram while cabbage will be subject to US0.35 cents per
kilogram.
The government's decision was primarily influenced by the seasonal
nature of these products considering the fact that there is the
highest offer of cabbage and onions on the local market.
