PRISTINA: HOLBRROKE & HILL SPEAK WITH RUGOVA

( Editorial: --> 6235 ) PRISTINA, Oct 6 (Hina) - Special United States envoy Richard Holbrooke and United States Ambassador to Macedonia and mediator for Kosovo Christopher Hill on Tuesday spoke to Kosovo Albanian leader Ibrahim Rugova in Pristina. The talks were also attended by the head of the Albanian negotiating team, Dr. Fehmi Agani. Neither the American diplomats nor their collocutor Rugova wished to give any statements following the talks until a public released was issued. Unofficial sources state that the American diplomats informed Rugova of the efforts being made by the international community and particularly the United States to end the Kosovo crisis. The diplomats also informed him about the latest American plans regarding the temporary solution for the political status of Kosovo which had been reviewed and supported last week by the Contact Group.
