VUKOVAR, Sept 18 (Hina) - Eight tow trucks carrying construction
materials for the reconstruction of Vukovar arrived in this eastern
Croatian city from Germany on Friday.
The aid was organised by Croatian Radio's Second Programme with the
help of a German humanitarian company, 'Kroatienhilfe' from Bad
Homburg.
The trucks also brought along presents and sweets for children of
the "Vukovar 1" kindergarten, gathered by the Schlag family in
Feilbingert.
This is the third such humanitarian convoy to have arrived in the
city under the organisation of Croatian Radio's Second Programme,
the radio's editor Branka Starcevic said on Friday.
Deputy mayor Stipo Seremet said the construction materials would be
used for the reconstruction of homes of returnees to the city.
