SARAJEVO/BANJA LUKA, Sept 17 (Hina) - The final results of last
weekend's general elections in Bosnia-Herzegovina will be
announced on September 23 or 24, according to the poll organisers
the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE)
Mission in Bosnia.
Mission head Robert Barry made the announcement on Thursday to
reporters at Banja Luka airport from where he left for the OSCE
headquarters in Vienna, the Bosnian news agency ONASA said.
So far between 60 and 65 per cent of ballots have been counted in the
Bosnian Serb republic, Barry said.
He confirmed that the OSCE's Election Appeals Sub-Commission was
considering a complaint regarding a violation of the media
blackout, filed by the "Sloga" (Unity) coalition against
presidential candidate Nikola Poplasen.
Barry said that the elections in Bosnia would not be repeated.
