CROATIAN & YUGOSLAV EXPERT GROUPS ON PREVLAKA MEET IN ZAGREB

( Editorial: --> 0527 ) ZAGREB, Sept 15 (Hina) - The Croatian and Yugoslav expert groups started talks on the Croatian southernmost peninsula of Prevlaka in Zagreb on Tuesday morning. The Croatian side wants a permanent solution to the dispute over Prevlaka and, unlike Yugoslavia, considers it to be a security and not territorial issue, which is in accordance with UN Security Council resolutions. It has been announced that the Yugoslav delegation will include seven members from the federal bodies of authority and four from Montenegro. Montenegrin officials want to separate the issue of Prevlaka from the opening of the border crossing between Croatia and Montenegro on Debeli Brijeg, which the Yugoslav side has been refusing so far.
