ZAGREB, 13 Aug (Hina) - A delegation of the centre for the
protection of rights of imprisoned and missing Croatian citizens
and members of their families, "Apel", on Wednesday met with the
Greek Ambassador to Croatia, Stavros Vassilopoulos.
The delegation presented Ambassador Vassilopoulos with a white
brick, symbolising a request for the Ambassador to help gather the
funds needed for the reconstruction of one house in the Danube River
region.
This action is aimed at including politicians in the reconstruction
of houses on a voluntary basis and outside of their regular
activities.
"Apel" has so far presented white bricks to the Croatian Popular
Party president Tomislav Mercep, US Ambassador William Montgomery
and the OSCE Mission head Tim Guldimann.
The delegation, headed by their president Zdenka Farkas, pointed
again to the problem of the missing and imprisoned, asking the Greek
Ambassador for his country to intervene with the Yugoslav
authorities so that they could submit all data on the missing and
killed and the sites of their burial, "Apel" said in a statement
issued Wednesday.
