ZAGREB, Aug 4 (Hina) - Delegations of the Croatian Interior
Ministry and the First Croatian Policeman Association on Tuesday
laid a wreath at Mirogoj Cemetery in Zagreb on the occasion of the
eighth anniversary of the establishment of the First Croatian
Policemen Unit.
The delegations were headed by Deputy Interior Minister Zlatko
Gledec and association president Nenad Zovak.
A wreath was also laid by the Altar of the Homeland on Medvedgrad on
the occasion of August 5, Croatia's Homeland Gratitude Day, by a
joint delegation of the Association of Croatian Homeland War
Veterans (UHVDR) and the Association of Croat Republic Herceg-
Bosna Homeland War Volunteers and Veterans (UDVDRHRHB).
This delegation, headed by UHVDR secretary-general Valentino
Rajkovic and UDVDRHRHB president Miro Grabovac-Titan, also laid
wreaths at Mirogoj and at the grave of late Croatian Defence
Minister Gojko Susak.
Today, Gledec also received the representatives of the First
Croatian Policeman Association. He recalled they were the first
legally organised armed unit of Croatia.
