EXHUMATION AT VUKOVAR CITY STADIUM COMPLETED

( Editorial: --> 5485 ) VUKOVAR, July 3 (Hina) - Exhumation teams of the government's commission for detained and missing persons on Friday completed the exhumation of a mass grave near the city stadium in Vukovar, eastern Croatia. The remains of 71 persons were exhumed since June 29, the government's commissioner Marko Milos told reporters. One coffin contained only clothing, no corpse. Today exhumation teams also exhumed two bodies of unknown identity from a hole in a ditch in Ban Jelacic Street 41 in Bogdanovci. The exhumation of the mass grave near the Vukovar city stadium marked the end of exhumations planned before a summer break. Works will resume in the second half of August. (hina) ha 031847 MET jul 98
