ZAGREB, July 2 (Hina) - About 40 young cyclists from France, Germany
and Poland will arrive in Zagreb on Friday as part of "Eurotour".
The tour started on Wednesday in Budapest and during the next two
weeks the cyclists will pass through Hungary, Croatia, Slovenia,
Italy, Austria, Germany, France, Luxembourg and Belgium.
Ţhis is the 17th cyclist Eurotour which is organised by German Diete
Rogalla, a former member of the European Parliament.
Rogalla is also the initiator of the "Europe Without Boundaries"
campaign.
The aim of "Eurotour" to promote cooperation in Europe by gathering
young people of different nationalities.
This year is the first time the tour will be passing through
Croatia.
The cyclists will arrive in the Croatian capital in the afternoon
and will be received by representatives of the Euro Youth Club,
Europolis and student organisations at Zagreb's European House.
The tour will end in Brussels where the young cyclists will be
received by European Commission President Jacques Santer, the
European Commission Special Envoy's Office said in a statement on
Thursday.
