ZAGREB, June 26 (Hina) - President of the National Trust
Establishment Committee, Vesna Skare-Ozbolt, met with the Austrian
Ambassador to the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in
Europe (OSCE), Jutta Stefan-Bastl, in Zagreb on Friday, the
Committee said in a statement.
Stefan-Bastl was interested in the situation in the Danube region
and other war affected areas.
The two officials talked about the work of the OSCE Mission in
Croatia, especially its new responsibility in supervising the
police in the Danube region.
Skare-Ozbolt informed Ambassador Stefan-Bastl on the work of the
Committee, the course of the return and the process of normalising
conditions in the Danube region.
The two officials particularly discussed reconstruction, the
return programme and forms of further cooperation with the
international community in the effective resolution of these
issues.
Skare-Ozbolt said that greater participation by the international
community was necessary in reconstruction through direct
investments and the financing of concrete projects for economic
revival of the war affected areas.
