PRISTINA, June 22 (Hina) - Serbian forces on Monday continued
shelling Kosovo Albanian villages near the Albanian border, in
Decane Municipality and elsewhere in the south Yugoslav province,
Albanian sources in Pristina reported.
According to the Kosovo Information Centre, the village of Reka e
Keqe in Djakovica Municipality close to the Albanian border has
been under Serbian fire for several days now, as have villages of
Gramacele, Babaloqe and Gloxhanau in Decane Municipality.
This morning Serbian forces also shelled villages in Shtimlje
Municipality along the Pristina-Prizren road.
Albanian sources reported strong battles between Serbian forces
and members of the Kosovo Liberation Army in the village of Dush,
which has a mixed population.
The Pristina-based pro-government Mediacentar reported that in the
morning six armed Albanians kidnapped three Serb miners working in
the Belacevac coal mine from the village of Grabovac, near
Pristina.
