RADIC DISCUSSES ECONOMIC COOPERATION & RETURN WITH GERMAN REPS

( Editorial: --> 1688 ) BONN, June 16 (Hina) - Croatian Reconstruction and Development Minister Jure Radic Tuesday discussed bilateral cooperation with Germany and issues concerning the return of refugees and displaced persons with the German Minister for Economic Cooperation and Development Carl-Dietrich Spranger. On the second day of his visit to Germany, Radic presented a newly drafted programme for refugee return, which has been delivered to the international community for consideration. Radic asked German support among international factors in the evaluation of Croatian efforts in the return issue. Today the two ministers also discussed economic cooperation, the planning and realisation of a programme on the reconstruction and development of Croatia, and a reconstruction and development conference. Minister Spranger said Germany will continue to fully support Croatian efforts towards accessing European and Atlantic integration, with special stress on an improved economic cooperation and reconstruction. Radic said Croatia highly respects Germany's role and that Croatia will continue to fully cooperate in resolving common issues. Radic and associates also visited the German federal parliament, where they held talks with German representatives on expanding cooperation in economy and the refugee return.
