ITALIAN NATIONAL PARTY DELEGATION VISITS RIJEKA

( Editorial: --> 0558 ) RIJEKA, June 11 (Hina) - Pierluigi Castagnetti, head of the Italian National Party delegation in the Council of Europe, and his associates met with Rijeka municipal heads on Thursday. Castagnetti held a lecture on the process of rapprochement between Central and East European countries in the Secondary Italian school in Rijeka. At a press conference held in the Italian Union headquarters, Castagnetti said Italy supported Croatia's efforts to near and eventually approach European associations. He added that the Croatian authorities still had to re-examine their views, especially those concerning the treatment of refugees and minorities, decentralisation and freedom of the media.
