KOSOVO: CLASHES CONTINUE

( Editorial: --> 7786 ) PRISTINA, May 30 (Hina) - Serbian forces on Saturday continued attacks on villages in the Kosovo municipalities of Glogovac, Srbica, Pec and Djakovica, the Kosovo Information Centre reported tonight. Seven Albanians were killed and nine wounded and three Serbian solders and a civilian were killed in the past 24 hours in separate incidents in Kosovo, the same source said. Serbian forces on Saturday shelled the village of Lybeniqe (near Pec), where 10 Albanians were massacred at the beginning of last week. There is no information on consequences of today's attack. The Albanian state television from Tirana reported about fierce fighting between Serbian forces and members of the Kosovo Liberation Army who are aided by Kosovo Albanians who are defending their homes.
