ZAGREB, May 16 (Hina) - Croatian President Franjo Tudjman on
Saturday received NATO's Supreme Allied Commander Europe, General
Wesley Clark, in Zagreb.
During talks they expressed support for consistent implementation
of the Washington and Dayton agreements in Bosnia-Herzegovina. The
need for a realistic approach to resolving existing problems was
also emphasised, the President's Office said.
General Clark positively assessed cooperation between the Croatian
Army and the NATO-led Stabilisation Forces (SFOR).
During discussions it was emphasised that the continuation of
constructive policies would enable Croatia to be included in the
Partnership for Peace programme and NATO.
