ZAGREB, May 15 (Hina) - The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the
Republic of Croatia deeply regrets the deplorable decision of the
Indian Government to conduct nuclear tests, the Ministry said in a
statement on Friday.
"We are most concerned about the possible negative consequences of
this action in regards to the regional and global stability and on
the overall non-proliferation regime.
"We strongly urge the Indian Government to join the vast majority of
the states in their efforts to curb the spread of nuclear arms and
work for the world free of nuclear threat.
"We join the numerous appeals addressed to the Indian Government to
immediately desist from all nuclear weapon activities and accede to
the Comprehensive Test Ban Treaty (CTBT)," the statement reads.
