CROATIAN TRANSPORT MINISTER ATTENDS CONFERENCE IN ST PETERSBURG

PETERSBURG, May 13 (Hina) - A Croatian delegation headed by Transport Minister Zeljko Luzavec is taking part in an international transport conference in St. Petersburg between May 11 and 13. The conference gathers representatives from 27 countries from Europe and Asia. Also participating is a United States delegation, and several international organisations, including the European Parliament, the UN's International Bank for Reconstruction and Development, and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development among others. On Tuesday, Croatia's Luzavec took part in a working group on infrastructure development by presenting transport projects connecting the Baltic and the Adriatic Seas. The transport minister also presented transport corridors accepted at last year's All-European conference in Helsinki which connect Central Europe with the Adriatic via Croatia.
