JERUSALEM, May 10 (Hina) - Croatian Foreign Minister Mate Granic
will pay an official visit to Israel from May 11 to 13, at the
invitation of the Israeli Premier and Foreign Minister Benjamin
Netanyahu.
This is the first official visit of a Croatian Government official
to Israel since the establishment of diplomatic relations between
the two countries.
Granic will meet the Israeli President Ezer Weizman and Premier
Netanyahu, as well as Jerusalem Mayor Ehud Olmert.
On Monday, Granic will visit the memorial Holocaust centre Yad
Vashem, where he will lay a wreath.
On Tuesday, the Croatian delegation will visit the Israeli
Parliament and meet Parliament Speaker Dan Tihon.
The Croatian delegation will also meet Yuri Shtern, a
representative of the Foreign Policy and Security Committee.
