SARAJEVO, May 8 (Hina) - The international High Representative for
the implementation of the Dayton peace agreement will fly to New
York and Washington to discuss the situation in Bosnia with
representatives of the United Nations and the United States
Administration.
High Representative Carlos Westendorp will have talks at the UN
Security Council, with US Secretary of State Madeleine Albright and
with other officials of the US Administration, Westendorp's
spokesman Duncan Bullivant said in Sarajevo on Friday.
These talks will primarily focus on the return of refugees, the
spokesman said.
It has become clear after the events in Drvar, central Bosnia, that
such "nationalist incidents" must be prevented in order to avoid
further problems, Bullivant concluded.
