SARAJEVO, 30 April (Hina)- Ethnic, religious and political
discrimination is practised in areas of the Federation of Bosnia-
Herzegovina (FBH) and by all levels of government, warn FBH
Ombudsmen in an annual report on the state of human rights, which
was published in Sarajevo on Thursday.
Discrimination, which varies in intensity from area to area,
applies to the return of refugees, employment, treatment of women,
people in mixed marriages and atheists, the document says.
For the first time in the three years since they started operating
in FBH, Ombudsmen noted positive signs. Those are, better respect
of their recommendations, positive laws and decisions of the
exective branch of Government and restructuring of the police
according to democratic principles.
