DUBROVNIK/CAVTAT, April 29 (Hina) - There is no longer any doubt
that former Bosnian Serb leaders Radovan Karadzic and General Ratko
Mladic will stand trial before the International Criminal Tribunal
for the Former Yugoslavia (ICTY). The noose around them is
tightening, ICTY spokesman Christian Chartier said on Wednesday.
Chartier was attending the first international conference on
psychological and sociological consequences of war which is being
held in Cavtat near Dubrovnik (south Croatia).
The conference was organised by the Association of Croatian
Homeland War Veterans and the World Veteran Federation.
The strategy of gradually decreasing Karadzic's authority over the
police has proven to be good, Chartier said, adding that the
international community was just as resolute to apprehend General
Mladic.
