PRISTINA TV REPORTS ARMED INCIDENT ON YUGOSLAV-ALBANIAN BORDER

( Editorial: --> 7372 ) PRISTINA, April 16 (Hina) - Around 2am on Thursday morning, an armed incident occurred on the Yugoslav-Albanian border when an armed group of Albanians entered the Yugoslav territory, Television Pristina reported on Thursday evening. The group, which included seven horses who carried weapons and ammunition, was heading towards Djakovica, Kosovo. Fire was opened at the Yugoslav border forces, who responded and dispersed "the terrorist Albanian group and confiscated a huge amount of weapons and ammunition", TV Pristina said. The Yugoslav forces confiscated more than 60 automatic rifles, four machine-guns, more than 10,000 bullets for automatic weapons and other equipment, TV Pristina reported citing information provided by the military information service.
