BELI MANASTIR/ERNESTINOVO, April 15 (Hina) - Exhumation of bodies
of victims of Serb aggression on Croatia has begun in the eastern
Croatian region of Baranja on Wednesday.
Sixteen bodies have been exhumed from the Catholic cemetery in Beli
Manastir by the afternoon.
According to the chairwoman of the Association of Missing and
Imprisoned Croatian Soldiers of the Osijek-Baranja County, Stefica
Krstic, exhumation continued in Ernestinovo, but in locations
marked by Serbs as possible grave sites nothing was found.
"Only in one location, at a depth of a metre and a half did we find
remains indicating that there had been a body buried there, but it
had been exhumed and buried some place else," Krstic said.
