ZAGREB, April 5 (Hina) - Croatian innovators won one gold, three
silver and two bronze medals at the 26th international innovations
fair "Geneve 98".
The far was held from March 27 to April 5.
Croatian innovators presented eight innovations and were among the
most successful participants at the fair.
Djuro Virag and Slavko Matokovic from Pula won a gold medal with
special commendation by the jury as well as a special award for
creativity for their device for throwing out water from boats.
The device uses only tidal energy.
Representatives of specialised institutions for the transfer of
technology showed great interest in the rotating gyroscope
aircraft made by Kutina innovator Franjo Krznaric as well as in the
safety seal, while a Thai puzzle corporation was especially
interested in the rotating children's puzzle.
More than 1,000 innovations by 1,200 authors from 30 countries were
presented at this year's fair.
