DUBROVNIK, April 2 (Hina) - A European Civil Aviation Conference
(ECAC) working group for facilitating air transport started a two-
day meeting in Dubrovnik, on the southern Adriatic on Thursday.
The event was organised by the Croatian Ministry of Maritime
Affairs, Transport and Communications, which is also the sponsor of
the event.
The meeting is being held for the first time outside of the ECAC
Paris headquarters and it is attended by 40 representatives from 17
ECAC member-countries, as well as by representatives of the
Association of European Airports, World European Association of
Air Carriers and the Presidency of the Schengen Agreement.
Today's meeting includes discussions on all activities which make
the travel procedure of people travelling by planes as easy as
possible, from their arrival in to the departure from airports,
said Assistant Minister of Maritime Affairs, Transport and
Communications, Zvonimir Vedris, who is leading the Croatian
delegation.
