ZAGREB, March 31 (Hina) - The Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ)
National Council held a session under the chairmanship of the party
president Franjo Tudjman on Monday night, the HDZ general
secretary's office said in a statement last night.
The Council considered the current issues concerning foreign and
internal policy and gave its full support for Tudjman's proposal on
demilitarisation of Bosnia-Herzegovina as a permanent solution
including the preservation of sovereignty and equality of the Croat
people as well as their right to be constituent, the statement
said.
The proposal on demilitarisation of Bosnia-Herzegovina was put
forward by President Tudjman at his meeting with the German and
French Foreign Ministers during their visit to Zagreb on March 18.
According to the proposal, the idea on demilitarisation would be
based on a non-aggression pact between Bosnia-Herzegovina and
Croatia and Bosnia-Herzegovina and Yugoslavia.
