HHO PRESIDENT OFFERS RESIGNATION

( Editorial: --> 3483 ) ZAGREB, March 30 (Hina) - The president of the Croatian Helsinki Committee (HHO), Zvonimir Cicak, on Monday confirmed to Hina that he offered his resignation. "I have offered a written resignation and it will be discussed at an HHO plenary meeting," said Cicak, without giving details of the reasons for his resignation or comments on some recent newspaper headlines about a dispute within HHO. The date of the HHO plenary meeting, at which Cicak's resignation will be considered, will be determined by the HHO President in cooperation with the HHO Presidency at a session on 3 April, Cicak said.
