MATICA HRVATSKA DELEGATION DEPARTS FOR VISIT TO SLOVAKIA

( Editorial: --> 2749 ) ZAGREB, Mar 27 (Hina) - Representative of Matica Hrvatska, a Croatian cultural institution, will make a two-day visit to its Slovakian counterpart institution in Bratislava starting Friday. The presidents of the two institutions, Croatia's Josip Bratulic and Slovakia's Jozef Markus, are expected to sign a cooperation agreement, thus re-establishing ties broken in 1875, when then current authorities banned and dissolved the Slovakian cultural institution. The Croatian representatives will also visit the headquarters of the Croatian Cultural Alliance in Devinsko Novo Selo, and attend the presentation of "Croats in Central Europe", a book by Kvetoslava Kucerova.
