ZAGREB, March 23 (Hina) - Croatian Deputy Foreign Minister Ivo
Sanader met a group of Canadian political scientists in Zagreb on
Monday.
The main topic of the meeting was Croatia's strategy in the areas of
domestic and foreign policy.
After the successfully completed reintegration of the Croatian
Danube River region, Croatia was turning towards its internal
economic development and towards increasing the standard of living
of its citizens, Sanader said.
In its foreign policy, Croatia was committed to establishing good
neighbourly relations and entering Euro-Atlantic associations, he
added.
Croatia would continue to support the consistent implementation of
the Washington and Dayton agreements, Sanader said, adding the idea
of the Croatian President Franjo Tudjman on the demilitarisation of
Bosnia-Herzegovina was another confirmation of Croatia's efforts
aimed at stabilising Bosnia-Herzegovina and the region of the
former Yugoslavia.
