SARAJEVO, Feb 18 (Hina) - The International Police Task Force has
received complaints on attacks and provocation inflicted upon
supporters of the Democratic National Union (DNZ), a party headed
by Fikret Abdic.
During the conflict in Bosnia-Herzegovina, Abdic's units fought
against the army of BH in the west of the country.
UN spokesman in Sarajevo Aleksandar Ivanko Wednesday said in
Sarajevo that the IPTF knew of three incidents which took place in
Velika Kladusa over the past two days.
On Monday unknown persons fired hand rocket launcher missiles at
the houses of two DNZ supporters, while a third party supporter was
yesterday insulted and attacked at the Velika Kladusa market.
All victims believe these attacks were politically motivated and we
will closely follow the investigation initiated by local police,
Ivanko told reporters.
The UN spokesman voiced the concern of the UN mission in Bosnia over
frequent arsons around Drvar, western Bosnia, where at least ten
houses have been burned down since early February.
Three other houses have been burned down in the last two days, to
which one legal owner was on the point of moving in, Ivanko said.
