ACADEMIC COLLECTION 'CROATIA AND WORLD' PRESENTED IN ZAGREB

( Editorial: --> 2572 ) ZAGREB, Feb 17 (Hina) - Croatian Foreign Minister Mate Granic presented the collection of academic papers "Croatia and the World" in Zagreb on Tuesday. The collection contains authorised works by diplomatic experts and political scientists from Croatia and foreign countries, presented at the symposium "Croatia and the World", held on 26 May 1997. The collection of academic papers was published by the Croatian Foreign Ministry Diplomatic Academy. "The symposium 'Croatia and the World' has given an accurate chronology of Croatia's efforts to confirm its sovereignty and territorial integrity," said Granic. Croatia was turning to social issues and further democratisation of its society on the internal plane, while on the external plane it was turning towards Central Europe and Euro-Atlantic integration processes, especially towards developing relations with the European Union, Granic said.
