SFOR SOLDIERS WOUNDED IN EXPLOSION OF TRAINING FUSE

( Editorial: --> 2336 ) TUZLA, Feb 16 (Hina) - An American soldier was seriously wounded and another three received light wounds in an explosion which occurred in the Stabilisation Force (SFOR) camp "McGovern" in northern Bosnia Sunday evening. The incident happened while the US soldier was showing his Swedish colleague a slow-burning training fuse, SFOR information office for Sector North said Monday. The explosion ripped off parts of the fingers on the left hand of the US soldier who held the fuse. The solder was transported immediately to a US military hospital near Tuzla, from where he is to be transferred to the US military base in Landstuhl, Germany. (hina) jn rm 161841 MET feb 98
