SARAJEVO, Feb 13 (Hina/Habena) - The Croat member of the Bosnian
Presidency, Kresimir Zubak, Friday received the highest officials
of the international community at their request.
According to a statement by Zubak's office, as reported by Bosnian
Croat news agency Habena, Zubak held talks with deputy
international High Representatives in Bosnia-Herzegovina Jacques
Klein and Hans Schumacher, the commander of the NATO-led
Stabilisation Force, Eric Shinseki, and the head of the
Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe Mission in BH,
Robert Barry.
During the talks, special attention was paid to the situation and
issues in the areas of Drvar and Stolac, the standstill in the
implementation of municipal election results and activities
surrounding the opening of an airport in the southern town of
Mostar.
All parties condemned all incidents which had taken place
throughout Bosnia and were related to the return of displaced
persons.
The representatives of the international community expressed their
view of the current situation and made suggestions concerning
measures to improve it.
Zubak said he expected the office of the High Representative and
other factors of the international community to advocate the return
of Croats to the territory of the Croat-Muslim Bosnian Federation
and the Bosnian Serb entity, as well as the return of members of
other peoples.
