SARAJEVO, Feb 13 (Hina) - Bosnian Foreign Minister Jadranko Prlic
on Friday received Rahim Rahimpour, the Iranian Foreign Ministry's
general director for central and northern Europe.
The Iranian diplomat told Minister Prlic about his recent visits to
Zagreb and Belgrade.
Mentioning that in the Yugoslav capital there was a discussion on
the difficulty of establishing diplomatic relations between
Bosnia-Herzegovina and the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia (FRY),
Rahimpour said Belgrade considered the main obstacle to be Bosnia's
pressing of charges against the FRY in the International Court of
Justice in The Hague.
Prlic said the establishment of diplomatic relations between
Bosnia and the FRY was important, and that new initiatives and
stronger intervention by the international community would be
undoubtedly useful for that issue.
Prlic also told the Iranian diplomat that most probably next week
talks would continue on the Croatian port of Ploce, Bosnia's
Adriatic town of Neum and special relations between Croatia and
Bosnia-Herzegovina.
He said an agreement on those issues could be successfully reached
next month.
