JAJCE, 27 Jan (Hina)- In his meeting with representatives of Croat
and Bosniac peoples in Jajce on Tuesday, Deputy High Commissioner
for Bosnia-Herzegovina Hans Schumacher called for implementation
of Annex 7 of the Dayton Accords, i.e. for the return of refugees to
the municipality of Jajce.
After his visit to the areas of the Jajce municipality which had
seen the return of Bosniacs and a meeting in Gornji Bespalj with
Bosniac representatives, Schumacher said that the municipality had
achieved major results in the agreed return of refugees and should
hence receive reconstruction aid from foreign donors.
Municipal head Jozo Lucic said during the meeting there had been no
serious obstacles to coexistence and the return of refugees to
Jajce.
Despite its limited resources, the Jajce municipality is trying to
create conditions for a peaceful future and normal coexistence of
all the inhabitants, said Lucic, adding that they all expected aid
and support from the international community.
