ZAGREB, 22 Jan (Hina) - The Croatian Government on Thursday adopted
a regulation on the renting of government-owned flats in the
Croatian Danube River region.
The document regulates conditions for the renting of government-
owned flats in the areas of Osijek-Baranja and Vukovar-Srijem
Counties which were under temporary UN administration, said a
statement on today's government session issued by the Government
communications office.
The Government also adopted a proposal by the Coordination for
Interior Policy and Human Rights on signing the European Agreement
on persons who are participating in processes before the European
Human Rights Tribunal, and it entrusted the Foreign Ministry with
initiating the procedure of signing the agreement.
The Government adopted a decision on giving consent for the opening
of the Japanese embassy in Zagreb.
Adopted at today's government session were also decisions on
establishing Croatian honorary consulates in Tel Aviv, Israel, in
Damascus, Syria, in Porto, Portugal and in Beirut, Lebanon.
