IVANA TRUMP BUYS THIRD OF CROATIAN NEWSPAPER PUBLISHING HOUSE

( Editorial: --> 6127 ) SPLIT, 21 Jan (Hina) - President of the Globus group management Miroslav Kutle and one of the most famous businesswomen in the world, Ivana Trump, signed a preliminary contract on the purchase of 33% of shares of the newspaper publishing house 'Slobodna Dalmacija' in Split on Wednesday. Kutle told a press conference that the Globus group has 74% of shares in 'Slobodna Dalmacija' and that the sale of 50% of its shares to Ivana Trump means that they would manage 'Slobodna Dalmacija' together. Kutle also announced a great media project for 'Slobodna Dalmacija', but would not say anything about it. Explaining her interest in the purchase of shares in a Croatian newspaper such as 'Slobodna Dalmacija', Trump said that she had always been interested in the media and that she was currently the author of columns in three American magazines. She said she would have her own page in 'Slobodna Dalmacija' once a week. Representatives of the Globus group also signed a letter of intent for selling the department store Prima 1 in Split to a company owned by Ms Trump. Ms Trump said she was fascinated with the beauty of Croatia and the hospitality of the Croatian people, and added that she has wider business interests in Croatia, especially in the area of Dubrovnik. In regards to the purchase of the department store Prima 1, Trump said she wanted to make Prima 1 a world class department store with a choice selection of clothing, jewellery, accessories and ornaments made by the most famous designers.
