BELI MANASTIR, 19 Jan (Hina) - The Tax Administration branch of Beli
Manastir on Monday closed its offices in Osijek, where it operated
in exile.
The branch will now only work from its headquarters in Beli
Manastir, said head of the branch, Zdravko Roskar.
Following the reintegration of the Tax Administration on 1 July
last year, employees explained the Croatian taxation law to local
residents. Now they are supervising its application, especially
when it comes to reporting tax, said Roskar.
The branch currently employs 27 workers. Some of them had worked in
the branch office during the occupation of the Croatian Danube
River region and were taken over in line with the Croatian
Government's commitment to the peaceful reintegration of the
region.
