ZAGREB, Dec 13 (Hina) - After paying his last respects to the late
Croatian President Franjo Tudjman, the chairman of Bosnia-
Herzegovina's Presidency, Ante Jelavic, on Monday morning met the
Croatian state leadership in the Presidential Palace.
After his talks with Vlatko Pavletic, the Croatian National Sabor's
President and the acting President of Croatia, and Zlatko Matesa,
Croatian Prime Minister, Jelavic said Bosnian Croats would
continue following the path toward their equality in Bosnia, on
which the deceased Croatian President first set forth.
"For us Croats in Bosnia he was our mainstay, the keystone in the
defence and protection of endangered Croathood in Bosnia, deprived
of its rights," Jelavic said.
The Croat member of the Bosnian three-man Presidency expressed
regret at a failure of his other two colleagues, Moslem Alija
Izetbegovic and Serb Zivko Radisic, to come in Zagreb for Tudjman's
funeral.
"I am sorry that there are not my two Presidency colleagues in
Bosnia's delegation, particularly this refers to Mr. Izetbegovic,"
Jelavic said adding that Izetbegovic's latest acts and statements
about his stands on Bosnia and his failure to attend the funeral
speak for themselves. They also reflect what kind of future for
Bosnian Croats is in the offing, Jelavic said.
Besides senior Bosnian Croat officials, Vice President of the
Moslem-Croat Federation, Ejup Ganic, aide Mirza Hajric and Bosnian
Ambassador in Zagreb, Hasan Muratovic were also in Bosnia's
delegation at the funeral.
