HSLS HEAD COUNCIL ADOPTS LISTS OF CANDIDATES FOR ELECTIONS

ZAGREB, Nov 30 (Hina) - The Head Council of the Croatian Social Liberal Party (HSLS) on Tuesday unanimously adopted lists of candidates who will run for an impending parliamentary election, HSLS president Drazen Budisa told the press after the council's evening session. The lists include the names of 50 top HSLS officials, including the party's president, vice president, secretary-general, and members of the Head Council, Budisa said. According to announcements from the HSLS, the party's candidates will hold the leading positions on joint lists with HSLS's coalition partner, the Social Democratic Party (SDP), in three of ten electoral units in Croatia. Budisa said his party was not familiar with the names of the candidates which the SDP would put forward, which is in keeping with a previous agreement that the two parties would compose their lists separately.
