ZAGREB, Nov 12 (Hina) - Croatia will be granted a syndicated loan of about US$100 million for the purchase of radar equipment for the air surveillance system, the Croatian Finance Ministry said in a statement Friday. The loan was
agreed among the Chase Manhattan Bank from London, Dresdner Bank, Erste Bank and KBC Bank. The radar surveillance system will be purchased from the Lockheed Martin manufacturer and will be delivered and installed within two years. The entire loan is divided into two instalments. The first part of the long-term loan is US$86.5 million with a 12 payment deadline with a guarantee by America's Exim Bank.
