SOPHIA, Nov 1 (Hina) - A two-day conference of countries of the south-east of Europe whose goal is to probe the possibilities of economic cooperation in this region began in Sophia Monday. The conference gathers government
representatives and business people from Albania, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Macedonia, Romania and Croatia headed by Economy Minister Nenad Porges. The conference was organised by the United States. The first day of the conference focused on the obstacles to trade and investments into countries of the region. Croatian representatives supported all efforts of the international community leading to stability in the region, but stressed that one of the basic obstacles to the promotion of trade was the exclusion of certain countries, such as Croatia, from wider integration processes.
